Diploma work about the CAPTCHA language. A CAPTCHA is a test allowing to differenciate a machine from a human user on the internet. ALL THE BEST comprises of a web based “human channel” (www.theletter.ch), an A4 publication on the topic of “human data” and a serie of posters. Winner of Swiss Federal Design Price 2010.

INSTITUT KUNST DIPLOM 2009

Exhibition catalog for Basel’s university of Art diplomas. Under guidance of Ludovic Balland, Basel 2009. Published by Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz HGK.

 

OPEN DESIGN SERVICE

An investigation into the technologies of the Open Source that resulted in the design of a hybrid bitmap and lineal typeface “Dasher”. Developped in collaboration with Cem Sever and EPFL labs in Lausanne, using a Tobii Eye Tracking device. The font was featured in the “Types We Can Make” exhibition, held at Boston’s MIT in September 2010, and also published in “Typeface as programs”, published by écal/JRP|Ringier. The Project was also presented as a conference in “Forms of Inquiry, the architecture of critical graphic design” at EPFL/Archizoom in Lausanne (2009).
